linkA low sprawling affair in the corner of the Arts Centre complex, Dux de Lux offers an odd mix of function room, seafood restaurant, traditional pub and '80s cocktail bar in its décor. There's the ubiqitous big screen sports and the crowd tends to be quite studenty (think big crowds around a table; think loud).
The beer is the major redeeming feature. The Dux makes a wide range in a variety of styles, with regular seasonals too. Whether it's ever possible to contemplate these in peace, I'm not sure. Fun and raucous are the keywords here.
