I have to agree with the previous review. Although, the Flying Saucer is very competitive with respect to selection and quality of beers. I love the atmosphere of this Ginger Man location. There is another Ginger Man further north, but it's much more trendy compared to this location. This location looks like an old house that has been converted. The front patio was packed when I went, but there looked to be plenty of room on the back patio. I have only been here once, but definitely plan on returning.

This is the best beer bar in Dallas (in my humble opinion). If you like beer, you have to go to The Ginger Man in Dallas. I have not found it's equal in the DFW area. They have the widest selection of fresh draft beers I have seen around here and I have been to all the "beer emporiums" in DFW. This one stands out. Seriously.
No liquor is available here. So, don't embarrass yourself by ording a round of Jager-bombs for your buddies. They do offer wine and cider choices for those who cannot tolerate the fine craft beers.
Offering two cask-conditioned ales and a wall of at least fifty draft beers from around the world, The Ginger Man in Dallas also has an impressive bottled beer list.
The staff is extrememly friendly and knowledgeable. If it's slow, they'll often let you taste a beer before you pay for a pint.
Head out there on a sunny day and sit on one of their two large patios. It's very chill. Or stop by on a friday night. Drink up and meet some beer people.
