At one time Greenlife touted the best beer selection in Asheville. To my eye the choices are less now than they once were and the newer selections don't seem to be as numerous as they once were. The store is basically an "organic" grocery store and the beer is tucked into the right corner. The aisles are cramped and it can be tough to view the selections when the store is crowded, which is all the time.

Occasionally someone will offer assistance, but generally you are on your own. The prices are reasonable and on occasion inexpensive. Greenlife is definitely a place to go if you need beer and are in Asheville.
