Gail's is a great store to find all sorts of beers and wines. They have an AMAZING selection of bottled beer, both local and from around the world. Seriously - American, British, German, South African, Asian, etc. The wine selection is very nice too, a little bit of everything and the staff really knows their inventory. Which means if you know you like wine X, but aren't sure if it will go well with dinner, you can ask and they'll help you pick a good match. And what may be best of all - wine tastings every Thurs. night! You can call in advance to see what's being offered that week. They're FREE most of the time too! A few times a year they expand the tastings and add food and beer and that has a small charge, but it is _absolutely_ worth it. By far my favorite store for beer and wine in the area. (828) 267-2672
