The beer "section" is located in the back left corner of the store (don't look in the wine section, trust me, there is no beer there). The selection is modest, with more than the usual Budweiser, Coors, Alcopop, etc. (which they do have), but has plenty of Dogfish Head, Harpoon, Rogue, most Mid-Atlantic brews. The selection is singles in 750s and 22oz bottles, along with plenty of six packs. There are some cases available, but mostly in the big brands. The prices seemed to be reasonable.

Wegmans itself is an upscale grocery store along the lines of Central Market in Texas and Whole Foods in most of the country, although Wegmans has more "normal" products rather than just being local/organic-centric.

I don't think there is really anyone there to help you make a selection, so you're pretty much on your own.
