This used to be a great beer bar but over the last couple of years has been losing it's appeal (due to misguided management decisions and policies).

On my most recent (and final) visit, I ordered a pint of one of my staple beers. Unfortunately either the keg was infected or the beer lines were dirty. I politely mentioned this to the server and he apologetically let me know that management no longer allows exchanges once a beer has been tasted. Asked to speak to the manager, and the rumor was true. I was floored to say the least!

The Celtic Bayou is a great place to hang out. They have a nice layout (small place, but good layout). It truly is a hangout pub -- the food was fantastic when I was there -- always had that extra zing! They used to make their own beer (which was very good). However, their current selection of brews is excellent. Be careful during busy times because parking is very limited around the area--the pub is located in a small shopping plaza and they share parking with other businesses during the day. In the evening hours there's not as big a parking problem.
