This is one of my favorite breweries. Though I never physically have been into their brewery. Brewery tours used to be available only by appointment, now it seems they are anytime Monday through Friday. I'd like to see some tours on the weekend as that is when a lot of poepl travel up to Portland. A tip if you are in the area and they are not available for a tour, go around back to their loading docks. On two separate occasions I found a souvenier pint glass laying out on a table. Apparently the employees have a refreshing drink break but leave the cups! Therefore free pint glasses equals a 5.0 for service!

Their Riptide Red Ale is one of my all time favorite beer. The most drinkable red all that I ever had without getting that overpowering malty taste. This one seems to have the longest distribution from Portland which must say something about its popularity.

Their winter beer is great as well, simple, thick, and smooth.

I don't drink summer beer too often, but between their summer beer and the ever popular Sam Adams Summer, I'll take the Casco Bay everytime.
