linkPorter's is a nice little neighborhood bar. First the beer. It has 10 beers on tap. The highlight is a Brewer's Art (Belgian ale) on tap, followed by Sierra Nevada, Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Anchor Steam, Sam's Seasonal (a winter ale), Guinness, Blue Moon, Yeungling, Stella Artois, and Miller Lite. There are about 20 different bottled varieties (i.e., Bub, Bud lite, etc.). Second, the bar has a really nice ambience: wooden bar, stamped metal ceiling, some stained glass, etc.. It's not that big, about 12 bar stools and about 7 tables for 4 on the bar side, and seating for about 32 in the back. I didn't try the food, but it appeared to be typical bar food (wings, fried food, etc.). The beer was reasonably priced, a pint of Brewer's Art cost me $4. The crowd was mixed in age in the early evening, and wasn't too crowded.
