Parking near the brewery isn't difficult to find. There's no dedicated parking lot, but there's plenty of street parking. I had to circle the block once but found a spot not far away.

The brewery itself is a good size, although not as big as you may think since they dont do most of their brewing here (it's done in upstate NY). Upon entering you have to stop at the gift stand/cashier to buy tokens for beers - $5/token or 5 tokens for $20. Each token buys you a plastic Dixie cup of beer, although one of the beers cost 2 tokens.

There was a good selection of beers on tap - about 12 in all. I was there with a friend, we each bought 3 beers so I got to taste 6 in all. The only one I didn't really like was the East India Pale Ale - it seemed to taste a bit less good than what I've had in the bottle elsewhere. Otherwise, the beers were all good, as expected.

As other reviewers have said, it was fairly crowded on a Saturday evening. It was easy enough to get drinks, but there was no place to sit. Also, lots of hipsters... but I guess that's to be expected in Brooklyn :)

A very fun brewery definetly worth the subway ride into Brooklyn if you are in NYC. They have happy hours on the weekend with a bunch of picnic tables set up and really well priced beer. They offer regular tours in the room opposite the happy hour room where a guy will go over the history of the company and how their beer is made. The happy hour atmosphere was a lot of fun, they had delivery menus and were were able to order a pizza to the brewery.

For as big and widely distributed as this brewery is I'm surprised I'm only the second review! The previous reviewer must have been there on a quiet day. I went there with the expectations of being able to sit with my family and friends, 7 in all, have a beer and chat. Wow, this place was packed! The beer garden style seating was crazy. Pizza boxes from outside establishments scattered between all of the tables, people sitting, people standing, people stumbling. So, the family thing was out for us. My bro and a one other friend leaned on some grain bags up front near the polished fermenters. There we had a little more room to breathe and could hear each other talk about the beer. The others took a walk of the neighborhood shops. You needed to buy tokens to then trade for beer, which added to the fun beerfest carnival atmosphere. They had all of the standards names and styles that you see in the bottle and draft around the US. But, they also had a couple extreme hopped ales; the "Buzz" and the "Blast" that were released that day (this explains the large crowd). Did I mention the plastic cups? Not much info was provided on the dry erase board that gave the tap list for these or any others so my guess is that they were IPAs, and the ABV was around 7% somewhere. A selection of about 10 taps in all, with a few more bottles in the cooler behind the bar. Don't forget to grab your souvenir swag on the way out! I would definitely return with time for a few more beers and a DD at the ready.

I've been to the Brooklyn Brewery for one of their evening Happy Hours. The atmosphere is fantastic and, surprisingly, family friendly as well. The set up is sort of an indoor picnic area, with all of theBrewery's signature beers on tap. The place is always buzzing with young people; young families are also known to bring their kids for a nice family dinner (which you can order in from a nearby place or bring your own food).

I absolutely love the Brewery's beer selection. Their basic lager is still my favorite, though.

Finding parking near the Brewery is not difficult but you can also take the subway to get there as well.
