Visited on a Thursday evening. There was a small group of people sitting around outside enjoying some beers when we arrived. They have 15 of their beers on tap, 4 guest beers, and 3 wine taps. They have 4 oz pours and pints. To go they have whisperers (16oz), grunts (32 oz) and growlers (64 oz). There is a focus on old style beers like their Braggot and the Gruit which is made with yarrow and juniper berries. All the beers we sampled were excellent but I especially enjoyed the dry stout. They have a small distribution to local restaurants. I’m amazed that they have so many beers on tap and only a 1.5 barrel system. They have music playing in the background, not real loud so you can actually carry on a conversation. There are a few tables and bar seating. They have some snacks available like cheese plates and soft pretzels. Guests are welcome to bring their own food or order delivery. Excellent service during our visit. The server/brewer was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. There is limited parking in front of the brewery with street parking nearby. Next time in town we will be back.
