Stoneyhead brewery in Reno. This is the real definition of a micro brewery. Just a four barrel system but good results. It's in an industrial area on the south side of the airport. I had their Honey Pale ale, a middle of the road micro brew with some moderate crystal malt sweetness and just enough hops so the beer is not sweet. It's an easy drinking Session type beer. So I tried one more beer on this visit, this is actually my second visit, but the first time I was with a friend and we chatted with the bar tender and didn't take any notes, and I tried the Galena ale, this is Amber in color, at 63 ibu it was well hidden by the malt. This is a solid Amber, with a good balance between malt and hops. So on my third visit I tried the British IPA, this beer has a moderate malt aroma, and a large crystal malt flavor with medium hop flavor.

They have about 8 beers on tap, including a Porter, a British IPA, a summer Wit wheat IPA, and a Barrel Aged beer. Most of the beers are average at best. This is my least favorite brewery in all of Northern Nevada.
