The Depot Brewery in Reno. Had a sampler of four beers. The first was called The Ranch Hand, an American ale, lite straw color and a nice malty aroma with a somewhat corn smell. It has a malty flavor with just enough hops to balance, a good session type beer. The next beer was their American pale ale called The Explorer. It has a lite malty aroma with little citrus character and a lite gold color. This beer has a nice citrusy hop flavor up front balanced by some crystal malt and a moderate hop flavor, this is a good beer as well. Then I had the Voyager IPA, this beer has a lite citrusy aroma, a gold color. The flavor of this beer is a nice balance of malt and hops, the flavor is good with a slight balance towards hops. I really like this beer. The last beer of the sampler was their double IPA called The Wanderer. I can smell the alcohol first followed by some moderate hops. The flavor is somewhat perfumy upfront followed by a lingering hop bitterness. So I decided to try another 4 beer sampler. So the first beer on this sampler was their Saison called The Farmer, this beer has a lite saison type aroma, the flavor is a tart malt balanced by hops. This is actually a good beer for its style. The next beer was their Rodeo Queen Raspberry Sour.....big Raspberry aroma and a true hazy red color....the sourness overrides the Raspberry aspect but it is still there and this is another good beer. The 3rd beer in this series was their "Il Radrino" Belgian Quad, this is a moderate beer for a quad, but really well balanced. It hides the 10.8% alcohol well and is not overly tart or alcoholic. The last beer was their American Stout called The Blacksmith, mmm, this is a good Stout, not that well hopped but has a good and slightly sweet malt base.

This brewery is in an old train depot in downtown that's been renovated, well done, two stories tall with kitchen upstairs, bathrooms on both levels, nice website, no logo pint glasses but have several growler options. For food we only had the onion rings but they were great.
