Northport Brewing is to me a great example of a microbrewery. The establishment has a great atmosphere both indoors and out. In the summer (our visits) the outdoor seating is great. A view down the street and a food truck on premises. They also have the coolest urinal (a keg)...sorry...but it's awesome. LOL. On our first visit the IPA was good. They were also doing custom hand mixed shandies with their beers, but we passed on that. Our second visit the beers did not include an IPA or something hoppy, but they had other styles and we found something to enjoy. If you are up in the north of the Leelanau peninsula, it's most definitely worth a visit.
