Imagine walking into a used bookstore and seeing some folks drinking beer while perusing the shelves. Then you see a doorway in the back corner of the store and head over there. Stepping through the door you enter the brews part of this Books&Brews place. And those are some great brews they have; 13 beers on tap and several more in bottles. The beers are as creative as their names. Cream and Punishment, Clifford the Big Red Ale, It was a Dark and Stormy Stout, and The Malt in Our Stars to name a few. They have growlers to go and a mug club that comes with discounts. They have wine for non-beer drinkers. Although the main bar area isn’t very big, folks are welcome to sit in the bookstore and there is a separate area that is in works but has a couple dartboards. There’s plenty of parking out in front of this small strip mall. It’s a bit out of the way to get to this place but still easy to find and well worth stopping.
