Other Half Brewing is a relatively new brewery located just about right under I278 in Brooklyn. It's on a very short street with limited parking. Since they don't have any signs outside, I drove by it the first time and had to take a long trip around the block. The second time I tried to find a parking space, and failed, so I had to take another trip around the block. The last time I just parking int he McDonalds parking lot across the street. Safe yourself the hassle and just do that from the beginning.

The tasting room is fairly small, but when I arrived there were about 12 people tasting, so it isn't tiny. I didn't see much of the actual brewery but it looked like they had 15 or 20 barrel tanks, so it's a much bigger operation than I'd expected. Overall, the building is kind of run down, so they lose a few points for aesthetics.

As for the beers, they had 8 on tap, and a flight got me 4 for $11. They also sold 12oz and 16oz glasses of each, plus growlers/half growlers. At first glance, I was having trouble picking 4 because few seemed to be my cup of tea - lots of hoppy IPAs, doubles, triples, etc. I tried the following:
Veldrijen Love - A farmhouse wheat which I really enjoyed.
Hop Showers - Good for a hoppy IPA, but I don't really love hoppy IPAs
Koksidje - A hoppy belgian triple that I liked more than I'd expected.
Nice Life - Double IPA. Once again, pretty good for what it was, but not really my thing.
