Old Rail is on a small street in a very suburban looking area. It's a large building, very clean and modern looking. There's a U shaped bar inside, with plenty of tables. It seemed more like restaurant that happened to serve food. It was early afternoon on a Wednesday, so I was the only person in the place at the time.

I tried a sampler while I was there, which included the following:
Milk Stout: Smooth taste, good flavor
Old Rail Ale: Fairly hoppy for an amber, but good flavor
ESB: Good quality, a little bitter, overall not my favorite
IPA: Very good. It was a piney tasting hop, which was unusual. I thought it was very good.

I also had some food (a shrimp po'boy). The food was good, and the bartender was friendly.
