Really enjoyed my visit to 50 West. It is a bit of a trek if staying in downtown Cincinnati, but definitely worth the drive. Not sure if I didn't go the most direct way, but US 50 is a tough road to drive because of frequent MPH changes as you drive from expressway to within city limits, so watch your speed.

With that said, really nice space, including a very nice beergarden patio, including seating in old vans for kind of unique touch.

Very impressed with the beer selection when I visited in late october. Nice variety of selections with the usual late fall type varieties available.

I tried the following:
Punch You in The EYE-PA - strong west coast IPA with very strong hop flavoring.

Spooner Summit Double IPA - not nearly as strong as the Punch, but still a strong effort with a little extra malt to cut the hoppiness

Home Sweet Home - Sweet potato pie beer. Definitely worth a taste for something different.

Gunnison Black - another solid effort, black IPA. Not the most hoppy, but definitely drinkable.
