This is a small, upstart brewery in rural upstate NY. I wasn't expecting much when I decided to visit, but I was pleasantly surprised in many ways.

First, beware - the address is 1771 Dryden Rd, Freeville, NY. But, when you plug it into google maps, it took je to Freeville Rd, Dryden, NY (it even showed up wrong on the beermapping maps, although that's been fixed). This is especially tricky since the wrong address is just one street over from the correct one. It's farther west than google flags it as also.

Now that we found it.... The brewery is located on a farm, as the name describes. They grow their own hops out front, and other farm stuff in the back. They've got lots of acreage (I think they said about 80?). The tasting room is decent sized space, with a bar up front. It's a bit plain, but it does the job. There's also an extra room off to the side - I'm not sure what they use it for but the lady who was there said that their saving up to put a table in there.

As for the beers, they were all very good. There were 7 available for tasting, I believe, and I wasn't disappointed with any of them. There were several small groups tasting simultaneously, and most people were buying growlers because there's really something available for everyone.
