The Zauber building has a brewery, coffee house, pastries and pub all under one roof. There is dedicated parking along the side. The cubist architecture of the two-story building is unique, and they have large front windows which open to the fence enclosed concrete patio in front. Outside are several wooden picnic tables and string lights overhead. Inside, rock background music is playing and the place has a social sports-bar atmosphere. The main room has many communal wooden picnic tables. Along the side wall is an 11-chair stainless steel topped bar. The tasting room has several televisions for sports, with emphasis on hockey and soccer. The floor is concrete and there are string lights under the high black ceiling. There are a few high top tables built from beer barrels, and a suit of armor for decoration. The in-house kitchen is technically a separate business, but is adjacent to the bar. Walk up to their window for service, where they offer pub appetizers and sandwiches, and I adored their pretzel with beer cheese. The brewery itself is located in the back room. Inside are large stainless steel brewing vessels, and on the left are several midsize stainless steel fermenters. Chalkboards behind the bar list their 5 house beers on tap, which are available by glass, sampler flight, or growler. Their decent beer is mostly European styled, with obvious German influence, and also includes a delicious IPA. They also have a handful of guest craft brews on tap, so there are plenty of choices. The staff is welcoming and adequate. It is an enjoyable brewpub, with a distinctive European styling.
