just dropped by here on a relaxed weekend tour of the area and stopped off after a nice city walk. we sat outside in the 'beergarden' which is covered in sand for a beach kind of feel. the atmosphere is great when the weather is good. food seemed to be good, but I was there for beer.

Two house beers: Date Nite (dates and plums in a dark strong Belgian... awesome!) and Rye Wit (not as much a wit as a pils). the brewery has a half barrel system. Small but good! I hope Dan and Mud Hound brewing expands. There is also a large selection of other beers local and otherwise. Mostly in bottles. Lost Rhino on tap as special was great.

overall, great atmosphere, great locals, great owners (slightly slow service but VERY homely), and great beer.
