Vault Brewing is a small brewery located on Main Street of scenic Yardley PA. The atmosphere is relaxed with subdued lighting. We found everyone attenative from waiter to bartender. The beer list included five brews: Aussie Blonde, Brisish Bitter, Weissbier, Wheat Stout and Summer Wheat Pale Ale. We had sixteen ounce glasses of British Bitter at five dollars each. Unlike the name implied, the beer was not bitter,but a mild pleasant beer one could stay with all evening. It had a balance of hoos and malt flavor with mild carbonation. This particular brew was available i draft, cask and nitro. We had the draft. We also ordered the flat bread pizza which was served promply and was very tasty. In all I would rate this initial visit a good experience to be repeated in the future.

Vault Brewing is located in a compact, stately two story stone masonry building trimmed with white wooden windows and an elegant white wooden door. This building was originally a bank which has now been artfully repurposed into a classy brewpub. In this area, there are several places to eat and parking is free along the street or in a nearby lot. Enter and the 7 chair stone topped bar is straight ahead. Behind the bar are several stainless steel serving tanks for their craft beer. Further back are their small stainless steel brewing vessels. On the right is space for a live light jazz duo. There are a few tables in the bar area and the adjacent room has several copper topped high top tables. In another adjacent room there are several dining tables and the bank's former vault is now cleverly being used as refrigerated storage for kegs and wine. The floors are stone and wooden tiled, and the walls are decorated with intriguing art. The atmosphere is relaxed but slightly upscale. Although the food menu is not expansive, the freshness and variety of their ingredients is quite appealing. The focus is on their freshly prepared house pizza which is wood-fired in a unique copper oven near the dining area. They also feature fresh cheese, salads, and appetizers, which are served on distinctive card stock paper on wooden planks. The service is professional and the kitchen was fast. They have 5 or 6 house brews on tap, served in appropriate glassware, or by 4 beer sampler flight. Most are low-alcohol, but flavorful, excellent session beers, perfect for conversation and a light meal. Their Wit, ESB, dry Stout, and Coffee Stout, are contrasted against their deliciously robust Russian Imperial Stout. In conclusion, Vault is great little place with a secure reputation for an enjoyable dining experience.
