The Frisco Taphouse & Brewery opened in early 2011, and began brewing its own in-house beer in early 2013 under the name Push American Brewing Company. Frisco is a cinder brick building located in a suburban shopping complex. There is a relatively small parking lot with spaces in front and along the side of the building. On peak nights parking can be problematic. In the front left corner of the building is their stainless steel brewhouse. The brewing vessels are straight ahead, and to the right are midsize stainless steel bright tanks. Inside, their long 27-stool wooden bar is straight ahead, and is surrounded by long high-top benches and tables. To the right are tables and an adjacent dining room. Their food menu is eclectic with a great variety of creative appetizers and entrees. The place incorporates a motif of motorcycles in the decorations; there is a racing motorcycle hanging over the bar, and the brewery logo incorporates one too. The atmosphere is inviting, spacious with warm colors, and behind the bar is a wall of widescreen televisions. The bar features 55 craft beers on tap, a mix of several house beers and many excellent guests, and they also feature more craft options in bottles. As reflected on the flat screen menu, the selection is constantly rotated, and you will find many new seasonal, specialty, and import beers. It's too bad they don't serve sampler flights, because there were so many that I wanted to try. Wow what a selection! Apart from Max's Taphouse in Baltimore's crowded Fell's Pont, I believe Frisco Taphouse has the best craft beer in Maryland. The beer selection is superb, the service is friendly, and the only tradeoff is that the prices are somewhat high.
