Hubby & I enjoyed the beers we had, and the staff was very friendly--chatty while squeezing oranges and other citrus fruits for their fresh squeezed mixers. I had the fig and gorgonzola flatbread and I thought it was fabulous! Menu has some items you won't find at other places along with the staples. You can even buy the kitchen a round of beers (it's listed in the menu) or take home some spent grain dog treats. Definitely check this place out.

Obed's has been open over a year now (longer, maybe?) and their beers are nice. My parents live nearby, so I've visited Obeds several times since their opening. The beers, always rotating, get better and better, and favorites are brewed with more consistency. The food has also evolved since opening, and we are pretty happy with the selection and quality now.

I am partial to pales and IPAs, and find these styles at Obed's to be pretty solid. They are typically true to style. Springfield is just starting in on the craft beer scene, and my friends and I are more than happy to meet up at Obed's for dinner or just drinks.

I don't think they have a parking lot, but it's Springfield- parking is not an issue. The building is lovely and has a lot of historical significance. They are also dog friendly! So if the beer garden is open, your pooch may be allowed to join you.

This is a great place to imbibe if you are in the area.
