At Real, you enter into a small room with bar on the left (about a dozen stools), a few tall tables, more normal tables and a "couch" seating area. There are additional tables on a mezzanine if it is open as well as bench/standing area on a deck out front.
There are 24 taps; most rotating to new brews when the current offering blows. I visited during the Maui tap takeover, featuring a large selection of Maui BC brews on tap. Unfortunately, Maui kegs don't seem to make it to Oahu very often so this was a nice event. I enjoyed Maui Smoked Porter, Hawaii 90/- Scotch and Sobre Humano Palena 'Ole (a collaboration with Jolly Pumpkin). There is also an extensive bottle list with both regional offerings and imports.
The menu includes an interesting array of small and large plates that are upscale takeoffs on pub grub. Offerings such as duck corn dogs and lobster cream corn are just a small sample of what's available. There is parking in the Ward Gateway Center lot out front and more in back or across the street. There is a large theater nearby so parking can be difficult during show hours. The Bus provides service to Ward Center/Warehouse.
