Just when I thought Sansom Street couldn't get any better, I explored further east and found Smokin' Betty's! The servers are very friendly, the beer selection is good, and the great food has quality ingredients. I absolutely love the stacked Betty's burger: choice beef, cheese, pork confit, avocado, and fried egg! The atmosphere is a upscale casual, but everything is very reasonable priced. The architecture is crisp, with brick, wood, and steel, and it seems like the bar stools are the only soft thing in the place. Downstairs is an 8-chair concrete bar, and upstairs there is a 12-chair semi-oval bar and more table seating. There are 16 beers on tap, and another couple dozen in bottles, and I was extremely pleased that you can create your own beer sampler for a great price.
