I admit I am an infrequent visitor to the midwest and was surprised to find the excellent selection of brews at this new Tap House Grill. I stopped for a late Friday lunch hoping to find a decent pint of IPA. What I found was 39 brews on tap including Flying Dog Snake Dog, Great Divide Hercules DIPA, New Belgium Ranger, Port Brewing Wipe Out, Southern Tier 2X, Southern Tier Unearthly and Stone Ruination IPAs. I talked with Randy, the General Manager who was committed to having the best selection of brews in the area.
Atmosphere was extremely pleasant with ample bar and table seating. It appears to be a family friendly place in a location that is a few blocks off of the primary storefront town center may make it a destination as opposed to a casual stopping place but for any who appreciate a great beer selection it is worth visiting.
I enjoyed a very good Chopped Salad and the menu had ample selections for most every taste.
I only wish there was a way to get a few of my local Northwest Pacific micro brews on my next visit.
