I paid this brewery a visit just as they opened last Saturday, over the July 4 weekend. The brewery is located in downtown Port Jefferson, close to the water. The area is really nice, and there are lots of people walking about on nice days.

The brewery itself is on the small side overall. The tasting room is maybe a couple hundred square feet, so it fills up quickly. There's only one person there to pour beer and collect money, and it seemed far too busy for a single person to handle. They had 11 beers on tap for tasting, and you could get 5 for $5 or all for $10. I tried 5, including their Schooner Pale Ale, Nitro Porter, Ryes-N-Bock, a white ale, and a Belgian Trippel. The trippel was my favorite of the bunch as it was very smooth and crisp. The Nitro Porter had strong chocolate/coffee flavors, a bit too strong for me. The others were nothing I'd make a point to seek out again, but wouldn't avoid drinking them either.
