Rock & Brews is in old downtown El Segundo, which has a small-town feel in spite of being right next to LAX. It’s mostly an outdoor beer garden, though there is a small indoor room with several tables and chairs.

The beer garden is concrete and filled with many polished wood and metal picnic tables as well as tall wooden long tables with tall padded black chairs. The beer garden is separated from the sidewalk by a red stucco wall with large glass panes providing a view of an adjacent planting strip and the tree-lined street. The small bar is outside and has a fiberglass roof. Bright red Budweiser market umbrellas, some red fabric shades stretched across a red metal framework overhead, outdoor heaters, and a large music stage complete the picture.

The draft beer list is extensive, covering a wide range of styles, and both local craft and imported selections.

The food is classic pub food, including pizza, but we didn’t try anything, so can’t score it.
