Finally stopped here on our Snowbird flight path along I-5. The Oso-licious porter was perfect and the pale ale (Pusher?) was nice. The natural carbonation and cool temperature of the beer (not frigid or served in frozen mugs) allowed the beer to go smoothly over the tongue and into the belly. The porter was 4+% alc., which I find great because I believe beer should be enjoyed (especially when having more than one) and not mind-numbing. Norman was a great guy to talk with about the beers and the breweries in the area. Really good experience. We'll be back!

Dunsmuir is a quaint town just off the highway and the Brewery Works is a good locals pub. It's small inside with just a few tables and a short bar but there is additional seating on the patio out front. There are a half dozen taps that include a range of house brews. I enjoyed both the IPA and the Imperial Stout. In addition to BBQ and burgers from the outside grill, the menu include some great salads and seafood. Both of our seafood selections were excellent. There is street parking nearby.
