Decent beer selection, and while the standard beers on tap leave a bit to be desired (they're okay, but a bit boring,) the seasonal's can be outstanding.

The food is okay, it's nothing special. Might be a bit above pub fare, but not by much.

It has a shuffleboard table, which is a big plus in my book, and one of the reasons I keep going back.

It's located inside a strip mall, and first time there I had a bit of trouble finding it. One of my best friends lives nearby, so we do get to go on occasion, and it's a fun trip. Plenty of parking is one of the big advantages of being in the strip mall setting.

I must admit this is my home brewpub. The beers are solid and the seasonals can be outstanding. The Kolsch is a gold medal winner and worth a taste. Food is good, not fine dining but a step above normal pub fare. I don't go for the atmosphere which I admit is a bit lacking, I go for the excellent brew.

Go on Tuesday for the half price burgers. A beer and burger for $8.50 is a great deal and a cheap date.

Restaurant in strip mall -- undistinctive exterior, as a result. The interior is pretty spacious and very simple. Bar sits in middle of restaurant, while the brew kettles can be seen through glass form the bar area. Multiple flat screens throughout restaurant for sports viewing and some video gambling available, as well.

Was there on a Friday for early lunch, so it wasn not very crowded. Service was good and the atmosphere is very family-friendly.

Had some very tasty Maryland Crab soup, followed by an intriguing spicy steak salad. My wife's meatloaf was passable, but nothing special. Kids' menu was okay, but again nothing that really departed from normal kids fare.

Stewart's has a very well-rounded offering of brews. The stand-out for me was the Lockjaw. Hard to argue with a double IPA if it's done well and this one did not disappoint.

The bar and tall table area is good size, next to the brewing room, plus an adjacent table area accommodates casual dining. There is also a large separate room for more formal dining and special events. Seven house brews were on tap when I visited including 2 seasonals. I enjoyed the Highlander Stout (and tasted the Irish Red) but my favorites by far were the seasonals. The Bourbon Barleywine (2006) and the Stumblin’ Monk Belgian were both excellent examples of their respective styles. The menu includes several unique sandwiches and appetizers plus a fair selection of dinner entrees. There is plenty of parking in the lot at the Governors Square shopping complex.
