One of a few breweries in Orange County. This one is located further southeast in Rancho Santa Magarita. Cismontane appears to have opened up recently. The beer selection is small, but seem to be in the R&D process of getting a wider selection of beers. The beers are good, a nice balance between hops and malt, but some are very similar in taste. I think if given more time to adjust their brewing recipes, the beers will definitely have a good following.

The owners could not be any nicer. There currently isn't too many people that go to the tasting room so there is plenty of time to chat with the owners about beers in general as well as the current direction they are trying to take their brewery.

Since my last review, I have been 3 more times even though the drive is further than I would like to go. I am bumping my Beer selection score from a 3 to a 4 based on the additional 3-4 beers they have added to their rotation. These do not include the experimental beers they only pour their taproom.
