I'd say the food is more interesting than the beer here. They had 5 beers on tap, ESB, pilsner, hefe, brown ale and pale ale. The brown ale was very good and the pale ale was quite hoppy. Offered a seasonal but they were out when I visited and it didn't sound like they were planning one for anytime soon to replace it.
The food is interesting, pretty much anything you would want various pasta, wood oven pizza, sandwiches and seafood. You order at a counter like it is fast food and pick it up yourself. It is a sit down meal type of food, I guess it is so you don't have to pay for waiter service. You also have to go get your own beers however.
The building is in a trendy looking area and parking is at a premium. Plenty of tvs, good place to watch a game.

It's a decent brewpub, but nothing to write home about. Given the Southbay's longtime dearth of good brewpubs, though, I would encourage folks to give this place a try. This location began as the sister brewpub to Stoddard's in Sunnyvale, only to shut their doors a few years later. The Coop shows a little more promise. Even though I hadn't ordered any myself, the food looked good. Further, the atmosphere at this place doesn't seem to be "reaching" nearly as much as Stoddard's, which became way too chic for their own good.

Corner bar area with several TVs and tables. Some outdoor seating on the sidewalk and the upper balconies. Large restuarant area plus more seating upstairs. Family friendly casual dining.
6 "Coops Brews" on tap covering a range of styles including 1 seasonal (currently Irish Stout).
The menu trends to pizza and pasta but there are also some grill & rotisserie items and several very nice salads. Also a complete breakfast menu!
Parking in the adjacent garage or on the street.
