I stopped in here on a recommendation from a patron at Left Hand in Longmont. He was very excited about Asher as it was a new addition to the brew flooded front range scene and was the first full on USDA Organic certified Brewery in the state. Their bottles, for now, are exclusively sold at local farmer's markets, adding heavily to their desire to be the headiest of the heady in Colorado. The place is difficult to find, hidden in an industrial/tech park in Boulder. I got the feeling that Asher likes it that way, as when I pulled up in my shiny rental, I was promptly eye fucked (and not in a good way) by the staff and a few of their friends who were sitting out front having drinks. I walked right in to the bar and waited a minute for someone to finish their smoke and pour me a beer. I had the Green Monstah and it was really good, it had a huge flavor profile and although the it has an ABV of 9.2% it was damn smooth. I downed it quick and got the hell out of there. All told it was what I've come to expect in Boulder, serious quality goods served by snobby yuppies posing as conscious eco-warriors. They are just better than us.
