This beer stand is located between terminals 1 & 2. It is in the shadow of the restored WW2 fighter that is the same make & model as the one O’Hare’s namesake Butch O’Hare flew. Read his story as it is both inspiring (saved his aircraft carrier by shooting down 5 bombers during one flight) and sad (died on a later mission).

There are massive windows, so this place is usually very bright. There are about 8 bar stools and plenty of small round tables. Lots of aircarft activity to see out the windows.

They offer a variety of salads and premade sandwiches.

They have two beers on tap and which are usually Honkers and 312. They also have Goose bottles to choose from. During my last visit, choices included the Oatmeal Stout, IPA, Harvest Ale & the Brown Ale. They also offer about 5 US macros and some of the major imports.

Not a bad spot to hit if you are in terminal 1 B or terminal 2. Plan on a bit of a walk, so make sure you have time to spare.
