This sister location to the Pizza P in Georgetown replaces the original location, just steps from Dupont Circle. Aside from ChurchKey, this is just about the best overall beer bar destination in Washington DC. The space is open and comfortable with exposed brick walls, and open kitchen. There's outside seating when the weather permits. The pizza's great here (love the Botarga!), but the beer selection is even better. There are about a dozen taps (all good), and cask beer is always available too. Check the website for regularly maintained updates on taps. The barman here knows his beers and they move quickly and are well maintained. You'll find the finest in hoppy IPAs from the US like Three Floyds Alpha King alongside kegs of Belgian breweries' Saisons, Goldens, and Strong ales like Gouden Carolus Cuvée Van De Keizer from Het Anker. The bottle selection is likewise first rate. Visit their other location with similar tap availability at 3282 M Street (Georgetown).

Located just west of the Dupont Circle stop on the Red Line, also within walking distance of the Foggy Bottom-GWU stop of the orange line if you're looking for a little exercise.

The inside is much more open than the other location (Birreria Paradiso), all one one floor. A long bar, with maybe 15-20 seats, surrounds the taps and the fridge. There is a good amount of seating inside, along with a patio outside. Near the entrance is a wall that can open, opening the inside area when it's nice.

The selection is much like the Georgetown location, with about 10 taps, a cask selection, and plenty of bottles. The prices are reasonable for D.C.

The service is good and responsive, and the food always comes quick. The food menu has good stuff, a step above bar food, and the pizza is spectacular.

The sibling of the more well known Georgetown location. Maybe a little smaller, bust just as good. Recommended.
