Heart of Oak pub is the downstairs pub of Bacci restaurant. It is situated in an old building that has been a pub for a long time. Regulars in there will tell you about the "Wookie" or how it was a local almost biker type bar. Today it is an english style pub, with Guinness, Harp, Bass, Smithycks, Whitbread, Fullers London Pride and ESB all on tap. Pints are a bit expensive (Guinness is about 7 an imperial pint.. ).

Food is traditional pub fare, including bangers and mash, cottage pie, fish and chips as well as good burgers and wings. You can also order from the upstairs restaurants menu which include very good pastas, meat and fish.

Folks will also play darts after 10pm. Overall a fun place to hang out for the evening.
