Central Florida is a wasteland for craft beer. Outside of a few places in Tampa, Orlando, or maybe Gainsville, you're lucky to find a Sam Adams in most bars. I knew that I was in a good place when I started talking to the bartender (and owner?) of Burkes. His exact quote was "If you're looking for a place with Bud Light on tap, this isn't it." THANK YOU!

Burkes of Ireland is a small bar off the main drag in Crystal River Florida. It has a very good beer selection, I had a few Floridian beers that I couldn't get in my home state of NJ plus a couple of VERY good micro and craft beers from all over. The guys who work here know beer, they're home brewers too and are glad to sit around, pour you beer and just talk beer. It's theoretically and Irish bar, so there is Guinness and Harp on tap too. There's a good bottle selection, and they're quick to figure out what you might like, and help you get a great beer. Even my wife, who doesn't like beer, found a great cider that she really enjoyed.
