beerinator: @kevinthepang if it was red/tomato based vinegar sauce it could be western. Eastern has no red except for pepper flakes.

I had a great time there man it was back in 94 95 don't remember which year. I go out to visit parents each yr. in Phoenix and I remember going there with few of my moms friends. There's another brewery there Black Mountain? if my memory serves me right. They even might be one in the same not sure.

Black Mountain? You mean Four Peaks? Papago? There aren't many breweries up there...
I had some green chile beer in Taos and it almost sent me back to the hotel. I think the recipe goes something like: "pour Bud Light or pee into whole green chile, let sit for 4 days, serve warm."
