This reminds me of the radio station a few years back that was going to play Led Zeppelin and nothing else. I think they lasted 2 weeks and the DJs swore they would never listen to LZ again. I give the Cheeseburger show 3 episodes tops.

I just noticed this thread. Episode 3 is out. I watched them all plus a couple of extended interview clips from the first show. It was kind of fun to watch, but I share the opinion that they won't be able to keep it interesting for all that long. I guess 6 to 8.

D'oh so much for my over under bet. Wasn't there a baseball stadium that sold a cheeseburger with 2 Krispy Kremes as the bun? What beer would you pair with that.

I think as long as Kevin Pang is doing the weekly cheeseburger reviews in the Trib, the show will continue as a side project.
The owning chef's full name is Graham Elliot Bowles -- don't know if that was the chef featured in the show. Maybe he'll use the last name if he opens a noodle house or soup restaurant.

The episode released today had a place from Munster, IN on it! Schoop's, 215 Ridge Road, Munster, INAlso in the episode are Sweets & Savories (near DePaul, a bit over half a mile from Goose Clybourn) and a place on the southside called 2 Plus (92nd and South Cottage Grove). The Sweets & Savories burger is their 17 dollar Foie Gras, American Kobe Burger with truffle mayo. I might have to try this one soon... http://blogs.trb.com/cheeseburgershow/episode5.html

We have a Schoop's here in Crown Point. The burgers are really good. They also do a nice egg salad, if you're into that sort of thing.
