Anyone headed out to Flossmoor on Friday night?  I think I'm skipping this one and just doing Dark Lord day.

are you talking about replacing it with something, or just going to be a homebody instead.

Maybe the pre-DLD thing at Sheffields?  Anything else going on that I haven't heard of?

We'll be coming from the Livery, and we may just stay there and enjoy it rather than rush off to get to Flossmoor.  Thats what we should have done last year.

I really hafta say... that you should swing into the roundbarn brewery and then back up to livery... they aren't that far from each other, tho roundbarn is more a morning to afternoon stop where livery is later-er...

I think we'll be out there for a little while at least. We had a really good time last year, but it worries me that there won't be a brewer to host it this time.

I do think there will still be a line for Dark Lord. Hopefully not nearly as bad as last year.

This will be a first for me at DLD. I need to maintain my sobriety, for the most part.  sad

I need to finish packing and cleaning my place. I will be a temporary resident of Mobile, Alabama as of April 28th. It's not a sad thing, just something new.

1) The anniversary of this historic event is coming up.
2) It amuses me greatly.
3) Other Beermappers have been PMing me about it's significance... poke poke

I think I'm going to do 3F early today, followed by Flossmoor early as well, and then back to the hotel early for a couple more beers and an early night. Livery sounds interesting; maybe Sunday.

Flossmoor was still a pretty good time. Totally different vibe for me as compared to last year. It seemed more random and disorganized, which is what I expected since Matt is gone. Most of the action took place outdoors on the deck, over by the ice cream caboose. Probably just my perception, but it seemed like the pours were smaller out there, then if you bought your beer at the bar.

I did a couple of trades, which was nice. Best beer of the night for me was that I got a taste of Brooklyn's Black Opps. Awesome!  I never saw this in Indiana. Want.

There are prolly 200 people here already. The people parked in front of me have been here drinking since 245am. There is still a little parking on Indiana.
