Thought a few North Central beermappers might enjoy this:
Quote Attention Chicagoites, Goose Island is now avaiable in Hawaii on draft. REAL a gastropub will celebrate with pouring the initial four beers available tomorrow night for a Tuesday Tap Attack. Hopefully the brand does well here in Hawaii and they decide to send us more of the rare stuff. |

According to Beer Menus, the Lunar now has their Christmas in the Caribbean on tap. Having gone there tonight based on your message (alas, I have a permanent Thursday conflict...), I can assure you the serving size is a pint glass. Minus foam. And many folks were enjoying it, even with the abv ever creeping up -- they say it's a 7.2% glass of holiday cheer these days. I can't vouch for it (yet) -- I had the Neil Armstrong tripel and the Darkside dubbel, and wanted to be able to drive home, so... ![]() |

I'm hoping an Admin can remedy this injustice. Stoudt's Brewing is an historic institution, one of Pennsylvania's first craft breweries. Yet one disgruntled user, over two years ago, gave a pitiful review score of "5". The average review in BeerMapping is around "80", and I see Admins have deleted other frivolous reviews like this. It's unfair that one vindictive review misrepresents Stoudts with a far-below-average score, when it would otherwise have a well-deserved respectably high score. (As a rule of thumb, I believe that deviation scores greater than +/- 30 points should be flagged for review.)

I'm creating an app that shows locations in the proximity of an address (geocoded by Google). The website does a great job of searching for a city and returning all matching locations. However, the API doesn't seem to search the same way. Many cities (for example, St. Louis) have multiple ways that locations spell the name (saint louis, st louis, st. louis, etc.). The website search takes this into account, but the API does not. Is there any way to search the API for a city and get the same results that the website would return? Thanks!
