I just reported this on but Southern Star Brewery is also not placed in the right location on the map.  The address is correct but the coordinates are actually 30.346722, -95.432831.

I fixed the wrong places on map ones, and the address changed ones.  The Sebago one got modified even more since they don't brew at those locations anymore and it's all brewed in a central location, I updated them all to be beer bars and added one or two that were missing.

Fort Collins also was added as a new location since there were reviews on the old one, and to keep the reviews correct with the correct location, a new one is opened.

I'll look into the closed locations too, later today.

I don't get any of the reports about edits, but I have rights to modify the data, so I'm willing to edit anything that needs to be.

I too am willing to donate some time to make database corrections if the Admins need help.  The pattern I've noticed is that the site Admins are very good about adding new locations, but are slow to correct map locations, address, or to show a place closed.  I've just assumed they are busy, because I've seen the same concern posted in the forum before.  I'm sure too they'd like to vet changes for accuracy before implementing.  But perhaps there is something wrong with the error submission form?  I've kept a list errors, so that I don't mistakenly drive to a location that I know to mis-mapped or closed.

Wrong Place on Map:
Lefty's Brewing Co
J.F. Walleye's
Sherwood Forest Brewers

Address Changed:
Sebago Brewing Co (locid 1182) relocated to 211 Fore Street, Portland, ME 04101
Fort Collins Brewery (locid 457) relocated to 1020 East Lincoln Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524

Closed Locations:
Mighty Oaks Pub (locid 852)
North River Winery (locid 918)
Cleveland ChopHouse And Brewery (locid 294)
Pittsfield Brew Works (locid 1007)
Marble City Brewing (renamed)
Sugarloaf Brewing Co/ Theos Restaurant (locid 3177)
Charleston Brewing Co (locid 278)
Ramapo Valley Brewery (locid 1052)
Sherwood Forest Brewers (locid 1193)
Taylor Brewing Co (locid 1306)
Harrison's Brewery and Restaurant (locid 573)
Millrose Restaurant and Brewing Co (locid 855)

I've been seeing the same thing.  I've submitted updates periodically over the last few months, and most don't get implemented (although a couple have).

Do the admins not support those updates anymore?  If so, would it be possible to get someone else to help support this?  I'd be willing to chip in...

I think that would be a pretty spectacular thing...  From the pins on BeerMapping, you could click to get the beerlist on BeerMenus; from a business on BeerMenus you could click to get a map of other nearby places on BeerMapping...

Let's see... what's new...

DryHop is open, i've heard very good reports so far. Lillie's Q is back open after the fire there. Lake Effect has beers in bottles. There's a new brewery opening every other day it seems :toast:

Anyone else?

If someone is making all the money off this site, please let me know.

C'mon Beerinator... we know you're swimming in all that Beermapping cheddar :D

Also, here's the draft list at the first place I randomly clicked on the Seattle map, Fiddler's Inn:

Looks pretty affordable to me.  ::)

This site is definitely not a paid advertisement. Unless someone else is making money off of it?

If someone is making all the money off this site, please let me know.

To answer your question: we concentrate on the establishments that are submitted to the site by our users. We do not focus on how much beers in an area cost. We do look at taplists of the places submitted in order to validate them, but we do not discriminate based on price, just on selection.

Welcome to the site.

I'm looking at the Seattle map. You're telling me that you have been to all of these places and they are all too expensive for you? What are the beer prices you are seeing?

Not sure if you're planning on visiting or if you live in the area, but if it's the latter you're more than welcome to add establishments that serve craft beer and are also cheaper than average. I'm sure others would appreciate it as well.
