Adding Images
We have added an image uploading system here for all locations in the database. If you have brewery, brewpub, beer bar or beer store images and you are a registered user, you can now have the ability to upload images to our database.
Each location has a slot of three images that can be uploaded for it. There is a possibility of a location having more than 3 images, but at the moment only three are displayed. When you are viewing the review page for a location you can see the images by clicking the “images” tab and opening up the section for images.
As you can see from the image below, clicking the “images” tab will expand a section that contains small thumbnails of each uploaded image. The images can be clicked in order to see a larger version of that image in a pop-up. The goal of these images is to enable a user to view different images that can show them the “feel” of that location. The Beer Mapping Project is not interested in simply showing the front door of an establishment, so feel free to take and submit pictures of brewing kettles, taplists, or pictures that may give someone an idea of what this location is all about.
Click the image below to see the image system in action (click the “images” tab to see the pictures).
Or if perhaps you are simply interested in keeping tabs on the newest images, there is a page dedicated to the lastest 15 uploaded images. Click the image below to see that page.
There is also an rss feed so that you can subscribe to receive uploaded images into your rss aggregator. The links to the rss feed are located on the recent images page (click the image above) or you can access the recent images feed by clicking the orange rss icon in the left column.

Just wanted to say that this photos upload ability is great and I wish I had started taking pictures of all the locations I have enjoyed from the beginning of enjoying all the great beer locations around.

I wish I had been taking more pictures too. But this gives me a reason to go back!
By the way, if you are a registered user and you wish to upload pictures; post in this forums thread and I’ll activate your uploading ability.
