New Look for The Beer Mapping Project

Ok, if you’ve been here before, you can obviously tell that we have experienced a bit of a redesign. Since we have many custom pages here (especially with the new review system in progress) we had quite a few complications in transitioning, but hopefully everything is stable now.

The main reason for the redesign is because we needed a bit more horizontal space while moving toward releasing our review management system. This may cause some concern for those of you who are viewing the site on a lower resolution monitor, but after studying out site statistics for a while, we figured that the vast majority of you would be fine with the new design. The site and the maps are built and designed for best viewing on a resolution of at least 1024×768.

Hopefully everything is working and no one is traumatized by the changes. But if you are, please feel free to comment below.

Also: Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Here is a link to the 50+ locations in our database with the word “Irish” in their name. Go grab a pint!
