Look at All These Maps!
Food Maps
Nicholas Day (Day happens to be the guy who wrote an article on The Beer Mapping Project for the Chicago Reader) recently did a write-up for chow.com about google maps projects that are “mashed up” with the topic of food in mind. Day’s article lists mapping options for chocolate, beer, wine, menus, fastfood and even burritos! I was looking through the article for the Mashed Potato Mashup Map, but I don’t think anyone has invented it yet.

My personal favorites from this article are the Burrito Maps and the system over at burritophile.com. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

A Great Source for Any Type of Map (food or otherwise)
If you’re in the mood for more maps, there is an awesome site called Google Maps Mania. Let me tell you, these Google Maps Mania guys are hardcore for maps. They recently wrote a piece on The Beer Mapping Project that outlines our Canadian and New Zealand expansion as well as some of our other experiments around here. If you’re interested in maps, there seriously is a wealth of information available on this site.
