Seattle has been Beer Mapped
We just finished creating the Seattle Beer Map.
With 26 mapped beer stores, 9 breweries, 17 brewpubs and 78 beer bars mapped in the greater Seattle area, I think we can chalk it up as another great beer destination city. We’ve removed Seattle from our upcoming list and added a few more cities that many of you have suggested. The most popular suggestions were Milwaukee and Los Angeles, so they have been added to the queue. Check out the list on the City Beer Maps page.

There are currently about 85 breweries in Washington. Most of them are listed in the Northwest Brewing News newspaper. Since Redhook BC and Damond Knot BC were omitted, I’m guessing you didn’t use that as a reference, so that’s why I’m mentioning it to you. Also, about half of the WA breweries are members of the WA Brewer’s Guild, and those are listed here:

The NW Brewing News has an online list of 238 beer establishments that are probably slightly out of date, but a good resource regardless. Here’s they are, 50 at a time:

No, Craig, the Northwest Brewing News was not my source for adding breweries. I don’t have time to go through that list and compare at the moment, but hopefully they’re all already mapped. If you notice any specific breweries missing just let me know.
I actually am a bartender at the beveridge place pub in west seattle and I just wanted to thank you guys for including us in your mapping project! we appreciate this very much!
